THE TCG FIVE is an independent collector-intelligence platform being built for busy parents, newer collectors, and anyone who wants clearer decisions without manufactured hype.
Why THE FIVE exists
Our founder entered the hobby while helping his son find Pokémon cards. What should have been fun quickly became sold-out shelves, overnight product drops, confusing prices, and recently released boxes resold for multiples of their original retail price.
He also discovered how difficult it was to tell the difference between a card that simply looked exciting, a product worth opening together, and something with credible long-term collectible potential. THE TCG FIVE is the tool he wished he had.
Our purpose
Families and collectors routinely move between community discussions, retailer alerts, marketplaces, grading services, spreadsheets, and binders to answer one question: what should I do next? We are building one place to evaluate five recurring decisions—Get It, Rip It, Hold It, Trade It, and Sell It—in plain English.
What makes it different
